A Canadian Money Services Business is registered with FINTRAC and may hold permissions for foreign exchange dealing, money transferring, dealing in virtual currency and payment services. Since the Retail Payment Activities Act came into force, payment service providers must also register with the Bank of Canada — sellers on 7Baas state whether the RPAA submission is included in the sale.
